*Note: This was a combination of a few harvest times.
It's so good (and necessary!) to get people out and doing the work of sharing the Gospel. It's not easy or comfortable, but when we hit the road two things happen:
1) God shows up. Often in unexpected ways. (Today the youth pastor I was with made a connection with another ministry worker.)
2) We learn and practice the simple skills required to share, and then can apply those to our own lives and relationships.
We're not street evangelists seeking a spontaneous conversion. We're disciples called to share the Gospel wherever we go. We can do that as we walk around a neighborhood and we can do that in our own relationships.
